Travel to Sydney

We flew Air New Zealand from Oahu to Auckland, and then changed planes for our final destination - Sydney, Australia.
We left Oahu on Saturday, 1/18 at 9:25 a.m. and arrived in Sydney on Sunday, 1/19 at 9:35 p.m.
It was a 9 hour flight to Auckland from Oahu; a 2-hour lay-over at the Auckland airport; and then a 3- hour flight from Auckland to Sydney.
The flights were not bad.....we had a special "couch-seat"...3 seats in a row, which could be converted into a couch/bed.  So, we had room to stretch out and sleep - which we both were able to do.
Although for the first part of the flight, Tom was so excited to get the radio broadcast of the Illini vs. Northwestern basketball game LIVE.....in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
And, the Illini WON - beating Northwestern 75 - 71.  GO Illini!
We finally checked into our hotel, the Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay and are ready for a good night's sleep.
