Royal Hawaiaan Hotel 

We arrived safe and sound on Oahu and checked into the Sheraton - Waikiki Hotel, after a 9-hour flight.....which is a short one compared to the one we will take to Australia in a few days!

We left Champaign through Chicago/O'Hare early this morning (Thursday, 1/16) with temps around 19 degrees....and, arrived in Oahu with mid-80 degree temp.....this is how we should all send our winters!

We had a lovely dinner at the Royal Hawaiaan Hotel - the "Pink Palace of the Pacific", next door to the Sheraton.  Now off to sleep after a very long day.
