A day in "Paradise"
Aloha from Honolulu.
Tom was out walking early this morning – as per his usual routine, so you can see Waikiki beach when it is not crowded, which is very unusual.
While I leisurely got ready for a day in “paradise”, I checked out the weather forecast in Champaign, and it
looks like some wintry weather is headed that way…..looks like we left at the
right time – including Chicago/O’Hare which might have some travel delays today
and tomorrow.
Let’s hope the rest of our journey goes as well as it has so
far.
Our very long flight begins early tomorrow morning - Saturday, 1/18 - leaving Honolulu at 9:25 a.m. and arriving in Sydney, Australia (via a short stop in Auckland, New Zealand) at 9:35 p.m. on Sunday, 1/19. Hope our "jet lag" isn't too bad....we will keep you posted from "down under".
